Based on the life of NorCal big wave rider Jay Moriarity, here’s the most recent trailer from the upcoming Hollywood flick, Chasing Mavericks. Filmed in and around Santa Cruz (and of course at Mavericks) we have high hopes that Hollywood isn’t going to butcher the story of Jay, who tragically passed away while freediving in the Maldives back in 2001. With guys like Greg Long and a host of other respected surfers involved in the making of, we’re frothing for this one!
