As if to thank the locals for putting up with the crowds, trash, and traffic created by the annual influx of visitors, the Banzai Pipeline fires while cars strapped with board bags and weighed down with luggage make their way to Honolulu International Airport. The ironic part is that the Pipe Masters could have ran but had already finished in marginal conditions…
