Maybe if the guy yelling “Too deep, don’t go!” did so just a bit louder Kalani Boy would have kicked out…but he didn’t. I saw Kalani about an hour after this, he was rattled, asking, “Did you see my wipeout?” as he hobbled around the point at Teahupo‘o. I hadn’t seen it until now…no wonder he wasn’t spotted out at the pass afterward.
