Underground Surfer John Maher Launches All Things for Surf and Travel Website
San Diego — Tavarua Boatman, veteran WindanSea lifeguard, and past Billabong XXL Ride of the Year Contender, John Maher has just announced the debut of his new website and blog, Hungry Walrus, www.hungrywalrus.com – featuring surf related product reviews, travel advice, and feature stories on influential watermen.
“My intent is to provide a website where surfers and travelers of all ages can go to share experiences, and get quality surf product and travel information from credible sources – Hungry Walrus is such a place.”
The Hungry Walrus website is also a launching pad for Maher’s surf and travel guide service, JKM Travel. JKM surf trips are designed for small groups of surfers who want the best chance of scoring perfect waves around the world.
“There are many good travel companies specializing in destination surf trips. JKM Travel is a guide service offering surfers a richer experience, and safety only available from a professional surfer/lifeguard with extensive travel experience.”
Maher will be feeding the Hungry Walrus on a regular basis, so check back and check often for the latest surf product and accommodation reviews, and to get valuable information from Maher’s first-hand travel experiences.
