San Clemente CA

Summer finally made an appearance in the first week of Fall last weekend at the second stop on the WSA Gatorade Championship Tour at Ponto South Carlsbad. A near record field of 428 competitors enjoyed a baking weekend at the beach and were treated to fun waves with nary a breath of wind. Some amazing surfing went down in all the divisions. WSA Tour Sponsor, Gatorade, kept everyone on the beach hydrated with cases of Gatorade flowing all weekend. The guys from Kicker were flipping flapjacks both mornings and Bull Taco fed the ravenous crowd their insanely good burritos.

Our next stop is Surfer Point Ventura on October 23 & 24, 2010. This will be our annual Donnie Solomon Memorial Event benefiting the Red Cross of Ventura. We will hold a Friends of Donnie and a Pro/Am Event on Saturday along with all of our 18 and over and Open Divisions.

Don’t miss out. Head to SurfWSA.org to register before we sell out!
