With a solid wave forecast scheduled for the event, the growth and development of the New York surf scene will be in full glory.
“I expect this contest to be as lively and competitive as the city itself is,” stated Billy Melnyk, senior brand manager, SEVEN TIKI. “Along with our sponsorship of this event, SEVEN TIKI is sponsoring the New York Surf Film Festival being held the same week. It should be a great week to be in the City and be a surfer.”
About SEVEN TIKI
SEVEN TIKI is a Fijian rum made from the finest Polynesian sugar cane, sun-baked Indonesian nutmeg, Madagascar vanilla beans, other exotic spices and untouched water to produce a full-bodied, smooth premium rum specialty. SEVEN TIKI is crafted in honor of brave Polynesian Navigators, known as the Great Fleet, who set out in seven canoes from Hawaiki in search of the land of the long white cloud, Aotearoa. These brave watermen carved a Tiki into the helm of each canoe so that it would cast a shadow to the East or West and keep the voyage true. SEVEN TIKIiki is crafted and in honor of these legendary gods and intrepid navigators. For additional information about SEVEN TIKI visit www.SEVENTIKI.com.
