Wildcards, Supertubes, And South Africa

presented by transworld.tv

2010 Wildcards Sean Holmes and Shaun Joubert share their thoughts on taking down the world’s best surfers at one of the world’s most famous locations.

Holmes’ reputation as an ‘uber-wildcard’ is justified after a series of stellar performances during previous years that has seen him knock out world champions (like Andy Irons) and other big names (like Taj Burrow, Dustin Barca, Taylor Knox, Cory Lopez).

Holmes explains his mindset, his love of Supertubes and the equipment he will be using while attempting to go all the way in 2010.

Joubert is the reigning ASP Africa Pro Junior Champion and the well-traveled 19 year-old tells us just how special it is to compete against the world’s top surfers as he goes into the biggest contest of his short career at a wave that he knows better than most.
