SAN BARTOLO, Lima/Peru (Tuesday, June 8, 2010) – The final day of the Movistar Peru Classic presented by IPD has been called on this morning with the world’s best female surfers hitting the water at 10am.

The fifth stop on the 2010 ASP Women’s World Tour, the Movistar Peru Classic will culminate in its thrilling conclusion today, with both the lefthander of the past two days as well as a new righthander at their disposal.

“Conditions are probably the best they’ve been so far today with lots of options and we’ll commence with the Quarterfinals at 10am,” Dave Shipley, ASP Women’s World Tour Head Judge, said. “We expect to run straight through and have a winner decided by the end of the day. Good luck to all the remaining competitors.”

Up first this morning will be Silvana Lima (BRA), 25, against Claire Bevilacqua (AUS), 27, in the opening Quarterfinal.

Event updates will be available on the ASP Twitter and Facebook pages as well as live scores available at aspworldtour.com/2010/ziulscores.asp.
