Hey ya’ll, it’s Timmy Curran and Spencer Regan comin at you from the East Coast. On April 28th we embarked on a month long tour premiering the new movie Union Express and playing tunes from the new album, VerseS. We got a 37′ Winnebago RV and left Timmy’s house in Ventura coming in hot to Texas to play our first show at the on May 1st. We got to Texas a couple days early and managed to score great waves two days in a row at Bob Hall Pier. Along with fun surf we met some awesome people, ate true Texas BBQ, and shared goodtimes with the local surf community.
After Texas we headed to Pensacola, Florida where we had a show on Cinco De Mayo at Seville Quarter. Again we got there a couple days early and the luck continued for surf, we had some friends get us to the best spot and when we showed up it was head high offshore and barreling, we were frothing! Surfed all day two days straight and got to know some rad people in Pensacola. The show that night was a blast and afterwards we went out to celebrate Cinco De Mayo at a local hot spot with Sterling Spencer and his crew. Goodtimes!
Since then we’ve played shows in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, and Jupiter. Guanabanas in Jupiter was awesome as well, they had great food an amazing location right on the water and the place was decorated like a tropical paradise. We highly recommend it if you’re ever in the Jupiter Beach area. Besides the shows there hasn’t been much surfing the last week due to a summertime Florida flat spell, but we’re hoping for the best as the tour goes on. Thanks to all the venues so far for having us, everyone has been great. Hope to see ya’ll next year.
