Video: Florida’s First Surfing America Prime Series Event

presented by transworld.tv

With the new Surfing America Prime Series instituted earlier this year, last weekend saw the first Prime Series event held in the Sunshine State. As is typical of Florida during these very late winter months, mush was on tap at Sebastian Inlet. But that didn’t stop the best Under 18s the East Coast has to offer from tearing the windchop apart. Evan Geiselman put on the show of the weekend, showing exactly why he’s a ringer for the PacSun USA Surf Team. But the standout of the event had to be 14-year-old Nikki Viesens who lives a stones throw away from the Inlet. Not only did she take down the Girls Under 18 division, but she also nabbed the Under 16 division for good measure.
