Taking a break from filming the major motion picture Soul Surfer, which is based on her life before and after being attacked by a tiger shark and losing her arm while surfing, Kauai’s Bethany Hamilton tows into a solid wave at Jaws on the island of Maui. Of note is that Jack Nicholson’s daughter, Lorraine Nicholson, is playing Alana Blanchard, and Anna Sophia Robb is playing Bethany using this green sleeve (below) that allows producers to digitally remove her arm after filming.
