The PacSun USA Surf Team has taken the overall lead at the 2010 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Championships. The top five breakdown like this: USA has 7,415 points; Australia has 7,095 points; Hawaii has 7,085 points; France has 5,845 points; and South Africa has 5,760 points.
Kolohe Andino and Parker Coffin are leading the way in the Boys Under 16 division as the lone American’s still in the main draw. But Jake Halstead, Trevor Thornton, Evan Thompson, and all four girls (Kaleigh Gilchrist, Courtney Conlogue, Taylor Pitz, and Lakey Peterson) are all still alive and looking to get to the finals via the repercharge rounds. Oz is looking solid in the Girls division with two surfers into the semis (Tyler Wright and Felicity Palmateer) while Tahiti looks strong in the Boys Under 18 division with Tamaroa McComb and Poulou Jocelyn both in the quarters (Tahiti also sits at sixth in the overall standings with 5,475 points).
