Winter has officially arrived. December 21st marks the first day of winter and it came in like a lion this past weekend in New Jersey. With highs hovering just around 30-degrees for the weekend and snowfall piling up around two feet, grab all the neoprene you can. With it though came a quick surge of swell and hard offshores. Here’s a sampling of shots from a disclosed Jersey location shot by Jonathan Hoover. Jon was saying he had to end the session a bit early because his camera was shooting slow and his fingers were frozen. Here’s to the beginning of a cold, hard offshores, surf filled winter.
