Come experience the essence of surf culture at Fuel TV’s second annual California Surf Festival November 19-22 http://www.californiasurffestival.com in Oceanside, CA. Once again the event is an international destination for surfers around the globe with over ten epic movie showings and premieres (with many of the filmmakers present), the Silver Surfer Award, and a three day beach party. The event is put on to benefit the California Surf Museum.

Encinitas Beach Clean Up

Aren’t you sick of cigarette butts littering our beaches and plastic bags floating by in the lineup? Then stop being a lazy complaining bum and do something about it.

Come to Moonlight State Beach in Encinitas this Saturday and join the beach clean up. It is hosted by Alessandro Fraschetti and sponsored by Vivix 659 and Surfrider Foundation. Plus, Vivix is bringing coffee and donuts. It’s a good thing, so come out.

ZJ Boarding House/Hurley Store Grand Opening Party

Hurley’s done it again. This time they’ve teamed up with ZJ Boarding House in Santa Monica to open a giant action sports store. NSSA Comes to Newport

The 6th stop of the NSSA Southwest Conference Open Season is happening this weekend in Newport Beach. Some of these groms can shred and the event includes an airshow portion, so you can be sure you’ll witness some new talent doing some crazy stuff. Volcom’s Totally Crustaceous Surf Tour

Volcom’s Totally Crustaceous Surf Tour kicked off in July 2009 and has been raging across the globe since. It’s our turn this Saturday when the contest comes to both Pismo Pier in Central Cal and River Jetties in Orange County. If you happen to be one of the lucky travelers out there and have the urge to stop by Portugal, the tour is heading over there as well. If so, send us some pics.
