Video: Alana Blanchard, It’s Been Too Long

It’s been too long. Too long since we’ve gotten to watch Alana Blanchard in a World Tour event in her infamous bikinis (see above video and below screenshot). For some unexplainable reason the ASP Women’s World Tour puts their competitors in areas where wetsuits are required for the better half of the year. But fear not, because the ladies are gearing up for the big finish in Hawaii.
This video of Alana shredding somewhere south of the border should tide you over till the women get going at the Vans Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa (possibly tomorrow a.m.). The ASP Top 17 start again next week for the Gidget Pro at Sunset in pursuit of crowning this year’s Women’s World Champ. And of course, this is all part of the 2009 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. Here’s to Hawaii and it’s warm waters and beautiful weather!
