This past weekend, surfers gathered at Malibu for the 2009 3rd Annual Malibu Invitational Benefit Contest For Lyon Herron. They were greeted with small but fun waves over the two days of competition at the long right hand point break. Tim Curran ended up besting the rest of the pro division, earning himself a $1500 check, which he quickly donated right back to the Lyon Herron Foundation.
