Saturday saw swell really filling in along the entire Eastern seaboard. Though things didn’t light up as big as was expected—Bill was downgraded to a category 2— it was still a good kickoff to the 2009 Atlantic hurricane season.

Above we’ve got the photographic evidence courtesy of our Jersey Senior Photog Seth Stafford from The Spectacular Disaster Tour while at a stop in North Carolina along with a second helping of the Sunshine State from Tupat “The Ultimate Grueler.” Today Bill looks to be slamming into Nova Scotia, but should still be providing long period groundswell for the Northern states. To stay on top of the swell call, head to Magic Seaweed. For our Round 1 photos of Hurricane Bill, head here. Stay tuned for the final wrap-up from Bill once we get all the gold together.
