Our friends over at Hooters were having a Southern California Regional Swimsuit Competition to help decide who would move on to the International Swimsuit Pageant (check out some past winners here). Who else would they enlist to be judges other than people who know their girls in bikinis: a few NFL stars, a few Playboy chicks, and your very own TransWorld SURF. We know, it’s a tough job.
On Wednesday, May 13th the top notch Hooters girls from Oregon, Washington, and Southern California put it all on the line at the V.20 Night Club in Long Beach. Not only did the hooters manage to shower us with baby oil (yes we were sitting that close), but the girls also raised 10,000 Gs for the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Foundation. Nothing like bikinis and a good cause.
Taking the contest was Megan from Long Beach, who was one of few girls who actually wore an orange bikini. You’d think that if you’re trying to be Miss Hooters 2009 you’d be smart to wear the colors.
Second was Charity from Burbank who could’ve easily been crowned the Regional winner. Third was Kristi, who had the home crowd on her side, plus innocent looks that have probably broke their fair share of hearts.
Just wanna say thanks to Hooters for inviting us. The Model Search may have an infusion of talent soon to come…
