Happy Earth Day Earthlings! Last Sunday, as a lead into Earth Week, TransWorld SURF, Ocean Minded, and Earl Warren Middle School’s Ocean Club hosted a beach clean up in sunny Del Mar, California. The turnout was amazing with nearly 70 people, young and old, smiling while picking a grand total of 110 lbs of trash. Kids returning from their trash-picking route said surfers and beach goers alike were thanking them as they passed by. Thanks to everyone that helped to make it a success. Keep your eyes peeled for the next clean up! Do the beaches and ocean a favor and pick up at least one piece of trash every time you visit the beach!
