A healthy environment for a healthy community. Come join your neighbors for a binational cleanup of hiking and equestrian trails in the Tijuana River Valley on Saturday June 7th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pollution in the Tijuana River is a health, environmental, and economic threat to communities on both sides of the border. Every year, stormwater flows in the Tijuana River bring tons of trash and hazardous materials into the Tijuana River Valley, and onto our beaches. This binational problem requires binational solutions. The Tijuana River Citizens’ Council invites you to join us for the Tijuana River Valley Cleanup Day. Come show your support for clean parks and beaches. The cleanup will be held at the Tijuana River Valley Open Space Preserve off of Hollister St. in San Diego. For more information call 619-423-8665.
