Quiksilver, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Carol Christopherson as Senior Vice President

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 1, 2000–Robert B. McKnight, Jr., Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Quiksilver, Inc. (NYSE:ZQK), today announced the appointment of Carol Christopherson to the position of Senior Vice President, Merchandisingfor the Roxy division of Quiksilver, Inc.

Christopherson has been Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for Miller’s Outpost Stores for the past threeyears. During her 13 years at Miller’s Outpost she held various positions including buyer and Divisional Merchandise Manager.

Christopherson will join the rest of the Roxy team atQuiksilver’s new corporate headquarters in Huntington Beach. She will report toDanny Kwock and Steve Tully, both executive vice presidents for the company with oversight responsibility for the Roxy division.
